Since my childhood I had the privilege of being connected with nature in the charming Jarabacoa Valley, in the north of the Dominican Republic. I spent my holidays exploring its landscapes, captivated by the aromas of its wildflowers. My mother said that, from the age of seven, she saw me collecting petals in the hope of creating my own perfume. She filled empty jars with water and buried them in the garden, convinced that it would give life to a unique essence. Although most of my attempts failed, over time, I occasionally achieved a scent that, although imperfect, filled me with joy and wonder. That childhood game was the first indication of the passion that, years later, would define my path.
My professional career began in hospitality, transforming into real estate management until opening my import company in 1997. In 1999 I decided to continue my fascination with aromas after discovering the extraordinary benefits of essential oils. I began my studies in aromatherapy, and soon found myself immersed in research and experimentation, building a library with a variety of over 600 essential and aromatic oils.
In 2007, with years of experience and help of experts in the field, we created The Signature ScentAn artisanal system for personalizing aromas, based on a meticulous cross-referencing of data and preferences, this method has allowed us to develop more than 100 exclusive synergies for private brands, in addition to our own scent brands: Harmony Scents & Burners and Native Oils & Spa.
In 2014, during a visit to Grasse, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, the birthplace of perfumery, I deeply connected with the versatility of essential oils and the olfactory magic that natural essences contain. Inspired by this revelation, I reaffirmed my commitment to the use of essential oils as a healthy alternative for the creation of corporate aromas and wellness products, always in harmony with the environment.
In 2015, we took a critical step by obtaining exclusive representation of Scentcorpdiffusers, cold aromatization equipment with exceptional ambient coverage. This alliance marked the beginning of a new era for our company, offering more efficient, practical and technologically advanced solutions in the field of aromatization.
The year 2020 brought radical changes and challenges. We quickly adapt to market demands and the needs of our users, implementing key changes for the "new normal". We launched our website nicecaribe.com, followed by our eCommerce harmonyscentsandburners.com, both designed to facilitate our customers' experience and strengthen our digital presence.
In 2024, we expanded our proposal, with the integration of Nopallia line of artisanal products made with nopal skin manufactured in Los Cabos, Mexico, completely vegan, ecological and with elegant designs that marked an important step in our commercial offer. In the middle of the year we began representing Organethic Pure Carea hair brand made in Venice, Italy, recognized for its commitment to natural, organic and ecological ingredients, which raise the standards of professional hairdressing and provide an exceptional experience to its users.
Thanks to this journey, in 2025 we have consolidated ourselves as a "Wellness Distributor”, reaffirming our commitment to distributing the highest quality products on the market, which provide comprehensive well-being for our users and collaborators. Each selection we make responds to a rigorous standard of excellence, guaranteeing formulas that not only take care of health and the environment, but also ensure the well-being of those who create and use them.
Today, I feel deeply grateful for the privilege of representing exceptional international brands and developing scents that inspire harmony and serenity. My greatest satisfaction is knowing that, through each aroma, each product and each formula, we carry a message of well-being, health and comprehensive beauty to the world.
